UnderServed will establish a comprehensive platform for reporting and analysing cyber threats. This platform is tailor-made for NGOs vulnerable to cyberattacks, which often lack the resources to effectively mitigate such threats. Despite their critical role in serving vulnerable communities, NGOs often fall outside the scope of EU critical infrastructure funding priorities. While the initial focus is on the humanitarian sector, the project’s design emphasises adaptability for potential applications in other sectors and countries.

The project will enhance the operational capacity of law enforcement by bringing their attention to the real extent of cybercrime affecting a specific sector and the provision of MeliCERTes as an information sharing and threat reporting tool. In addition, CENTRIC will work with law enforcement to understand their training needs in respect of cyber threat intelligence and develop a training module for interpreting and acting on cyber threat intelligence.
