INDEED aims to use evidence-based approaches to strengthen first-line practitioners' and policy-makers' knowledge, capabilities and skills for designing, planning, implementing and evaluating Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE), Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) and de-radicalisation initiatives, such as policies and strategies, long-term programmes, short-term actions and ad-hoc interventions, in an effective and proven manner. INDEED implements a 5i approach to delivering the project's objectives IDENTIFY, INVOLVE, INNOVATE, IMPLEMENT, and IMPACT.
CENTRIC has led the creation and roadmap for the INDEED Smart (Stakeholder Multisectoral Anti-Radicalisation Teams) Hubs that provide geographic clusters of first-line practitioners across Europe. Furthermore, we are also responsible for compiling a repository, baseline analysis and, ultimately, an evaluation of practitioner and policy-maker approaches to PVE, CVE, and de-radicalisation.
