CoLabXR aims to improve collaboration, coordination, situational awareness, and decision-making in multi-user immersive environments by addressing usability barriers and constraints affecting task effectiveness and user experience, which limit uptake and adoption. Using spatial computing principles, CoLabXR will accelerate towards more collaborative C2 approaches improving the agility and speed of collaboration, enhancing shared situational awareness. 

CoLabXR will improve accessibility within multi-user collaborative immersive environments by enhancing user experience and human machine interactions . CoLabXR will focus on the collaborative workflow in immersive geospatial maps, including editing and tracking changes, allowing for the decentralisation of decision-making. CoLabXR will facilitate independent and collaborative working to provide a common operational picture for co-located and remote users.
