Calm through chaos

Working with the International Organization for Migration, CENTRIC developed the Calm through Chaos Serious Game to support training for Chiefs of Mission to enhance their competencies in staff management during day-to-day and emergency situations. Calm through chaos allows Chiefs of Mission to test their knowledge in practical situations, replicating potential real-life managerial scenarios. The scenarios focus on four key competencies: leadership, empowering others and building trust, and strategic thinking and vision, as well as communication skills.

The game's core features include a pre and post-game assessment against the four managerial competencies and several scenarios relating to supervision and work allocation, dealing with poor performance, harassment and bullying and managing emergencies and crises.
