Rowan Dennis

Rowan Dennis is currently focusing on the law of Data Protection and the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the security sector. Rowan graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2023 achieving a first class in Law and Criminology. Rowan focuses his research on the Law of Computers and the digitisation of society from a socio-legal perspective; this can be represented in his contributions to the influential CENTRIC and EUROPOL project AP4AI. Rowan also has an interest for the aspects of policing including the aspects of offending and penology gained from his undergraduate studies.  Rowan strives to continue to develop his knowledge and understanding regarding all aspects of technology and the law while working at CENTRIC.
