James Staite

Research Fellow

Prior to joining CENTRIC, James had a successful career as a Director of a private SME from which he brings a wealth of knowledge; including systems analysis and system design, as well as practical implementation.  He has been delivering technical solutions across many of CENTRIC’s projects, including European funded projects.  These projects apply innovative approaches in the gathering and analysis of open-source intelligence by using various technologies to identify and aid the prevention of emerging organised threats. James plays a key role in the design and development of collaborative projects with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and also with the United Nations Department of Safety & Security (UNDSS) for the security of its personnel.  His primary focus is on the development, application and impact of mobile technologies in addressing security, policing and humanitarian needs and requirements.
