MINDb4ACT
MINDb4ACT aimed to improve the combatting of radicalisation leading to violent extremism by addressing existing law enforcement approaches and policies. It utilised the living labs method, a multi-stakeholder approach to collaborate and co-design new practices and research outputs to prevent violent extremism. Overall, the project delivered a series of practical (train-the-trainer events, virtual reality) and policy-facing outcomes for key practitioners within the field.
Within the project, CENTRIC led the UK living lab to understand good practices and knowledge gaps in combatting radicalisation. The results led to the development of an extension of the VISER virtual reality experience focused on identifying signs of radicalisation and identification of online misinformation that could lead to radicalisation.
